Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Collar was worn by Knothead a bay dog on top of a cut collar. It would be safe to say that the Garmin collar along with the cut collar probably saved his life. Garmin will replace the collar for $98 which is a deal now my opinion. Usually vests are usually only worn by catch dogs and not bay dog. Vests can be cumbersome and restrictive in some cases and certainly don't help with swimming.
