Pretty dang awesome Cali. I like the roof design, low profile. I still don't like those shooting boxes.. What's the purpose for them?

Grass job is great, and the burlap. Why the extra length on the rear roof? Just wind and rain of your back, or putting a boat or something back there?

The xtra roof if for the boat.
The shooting boxes will will be grassed up breaking up the large opening of the blind.

Are you supposed to duck under and into those shooting boxes?

Yessir.... My 73yo old man did it and didn't complain!
It will make more sense when it's grassed.

I see those boxes just as much a safety measure as I do camouflage... It gives everyone who is shooting a position within the blind and there will be no shooting from underneath the cover of the blind or just in front of there... When dealing with youth and the elderly those are things I am considering

    Blind looks great!

I think the last explanation finally made it click on the purpose of the shooting boxes.

I will also add the shooters do not have to be positioned in the boxes... They could always come from under cover of the roof in the event of heavy rain or if everyone was doing the same thing.
it also allows the ability of an adult to stand clearly behind a youth shooter or possibly someone running a video camera

Dang man that thing puts my string and grass blinds to shame. Are you running power to it and satellite TV so you don't miss your football games?

Shitty season and didn't hunt that blind a single time.
Ringers showed yesterday, +/- 500....maybe the 2nd youth weekend we'll see.

    Now that's a heartbreaker.

I made mine on sleds so they could be moved to better locations and removed for planting.

I'm really sorry they did not show on time. You worked your butt off on that awesome blind and crop. Hope next year is much better.

Already know the changes coming this summer.... I'm still in the game!
