This has to be a joke. A politician who wanted to have a Confederate Battle Flag taken down helps do so. He says because that is what his district wanted. Now hears of a replacement flag and has to get on a hunting website to find out what it looks like?

One quick item for discussion that has been bothering me.
It seems the national perception is that we are still flying the flag over the statehouse. I have seen the images on several new channels (NBC, CNN, etc.) showing the three flags and several other forums I frequent have folks discussing the fact that we shouldn't be flying this flag with the US and state flag. I still say it is no ones business but ours (state of SC), but that does impact some folks opinion as compared to the fact that it is on the ground adjacent to a confederate monument. Typical media skewing the truth.

I worked the room pretty good and have about 35 co-sponsors of amendment with 55 willing to vote for it..
on the other side of the lobby, the senate voted to remove the flag by a vote of 37 to 3.
I told you this was coming. You can choose to continue down the keep it up route, but it will not prevail.
Of course there is a more sinister approach. Any change in the senate version could cause a stalemate which results in the flag staying up. Remember, a 2/3 vote is required.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
