    Default Thunderhead

They were eating the thunderhead alive. The kid did great on his first fly trip. How I didn't break most every bone in my body in that river remains a mystery.

That's neat looking. Where was that? And, when you say "they were eating", is that bream or trout?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

That was the only pic I took out of fear of dropping my phone. I will carry him again in a few weeks and bring my waterproof camera to take some decent shots.

I fished for two weeks out there on two occassions in the 90's and never caught a cutthroat. I was tryin', but I don't think it was good water for 'em.

I caught a monster rainbow on the lower Saluda today. Took a photo and sent it to the last number I had for you.

Looked like a boat paddle coming through the water.

But he didn't eat a fly.
