    Default Night time Kayak fishing Lake Sonoma

    Had a good time fishing Lake Sonoma this morning. I launched at 2am and fished until 10am. I landed 18 fish with a good mix of largemouth and smallmouth. Surprisingly swimbaits were the hot baits this morning for numbers.

    No real big fish but I caught a lot of 15" fish which provided some pretty good entertainment. The predawn bite wasn't as good as last week but I think that was due to how much moonlight I had this morning. It makes casting and navigation easier but it hurts the bite.

    These were my biggest smallmouth and largemouth of the trip.

    Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

    Excellent. You are the kayak fishing king. I don't know of anyone else that does it, but you are the best.
