Stock for now, this is a 12. I'm on the road a good bit, since November I've put almost 23k on the truck. Been doing more in town driving than highway over last 4-6 weeks so avg has come down.

I've found that the computer MPG is usually 0.5-1.0 higher than when I do the math myself

I would agree with that, I've only really hand calculated it once though

My wife has an 09 Yukon and the dealership just rebuilt her motor around 8000 miles ago because it was burning oil. I asked if we should do away with the afm and of course they said no. I looked into the range plug in thing and then got sidetracked since it was now under a 1yr 12,000 mile warranty on the work they did. Now I'm thinking I should most likely do something.

I won't charge to turn it back on if a warranty issue was to come up.

Yes, they are not flex fuel and they run on all cylinders all the time. They've had their own issues though. Lot of the DI 6.2's had bad cranks

yall just keep buying that government motors junk
you might as well be in the "it's all free, I'll swipe my EBT " line
fucking bailout on the backs of the working man.

if the company was making good enough products and business decisions it wouldn't have needed a bailout.

It was asked or stated earlier .... GM is going to a 70k warranty in 2016. No more 5 year 100k. Mark my words and take this to the bank.... GM is the first to do this, Ford and Chrysler will follow.

I'm a GM guy as I stated in the first post. They missed it with AFM.

I have stated over and over that I'm a GM guy and I also admitted this was a major fuck up but don't think for once Ford from 2002 to 2008 (3 valve motor) aint fucking junk! Google cam phaser. They have a horrible cam phaser issue, burnt up cams and lifters due to a lack of oiling as well.

Same with Nissan 4.0, 4.7 dodge with strainer issue burning up bearings,Nissan aw55 valve body issues, dodge with cvt transmissions and the list goes on. Many of 4.8/5.3/6.0/6.2 I see with well over 300k still ticking
