For the little brown dogs. Picked up the new pup from Black Creek Boykins yesterday and he's wasted zero time making himself at home. He's mainly going to be mans best friend but I'll work with him some and probably carry him on a few dove shoots. Seems like a smart pup so I guess time will tell.

They definitely trip me out the way they lay down. Just like an English Bulldog.

    Awesome! Good looking pup.
I'm like a duck: calm above the water, and paddling like hell underneath....

They are little dogs with a big heart. Don't limit him to doves!

Nice! And definitely don't limit him to doves. They'll pick up anything a big lab will

We just added a Boykin to the family also. We have a lab and he is definitely has more energy than she did as a pup. Any differences when it comes to training? Of course he is 13 weeks now so just focusing on play and socialisation he did pick up on things like sit and place but he can be a handful at times. Any suggestions on the difference between the temperament of labs versus boy kind would be helpful

10-4. Come on up. It's worth it for the coon dogs and john deere graveyard alone. Ask Cut'em.
