herbicide to kill cedar trees?

I am looking for a good herbicide to kill cedar trees along fence lines. Preferably by Spraying. Anyone had any success?

5 1/2 % mix of element four with induce wetting agent.Cover the tree and it will die pretty quick.

Can buddy get ahold of Gramoxone? Remedy is non restricted and could knock it out. Although the Remedy Ultra would work slightly better.

Thanks. The cedars are not very big(1-10 feet). Just tired of cutting them down every few years. Wanted something to kill the roots and maybe only have to do it ever 7-years.
