    I lived in Spartanburg for four years and ate at the Beacon exactly once. Ike's for lunch, Cribbs Kitchen or Gerhards for dinner.

    skip the beacon. ike's for a good burger and pbr. gerhards for more uppity dining. rj rockers brewery downtown does a tour and taste every thursday night. pay like 5 bucks and walk around their factory and drink some beer. not a bad deal.
