    I've killed a gobbler with every shotgun I own except my 16 gauge Ithaca M37. That includes my granddaddy's bird and rabbit gun, an old 12 gauge SxS hammergun. I removed the buttplate once and inside were his hunting license and 4 strike-anywhere matches. I put them right back in there. Unfortunately I don't own a .410.
