    Default Cobblers?

I want a belt holster for my son's box call.

    One like this:

    Shoe makers?

I dont know any leather seamstresses.

    Hook a brother up.

My wife makes a damn good blackberry cobbler. That probably doesn't help a whole lot with what you're looking for, but your post title made my mouth water.

My wife make an amazing tart pear cobbler from fruit we pick at mom's. It'll make you want to kill turkeys.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I was hoping we had some humor still left around here.

I believe ya'll with the pear cobbler, and blackberry cobblers...ya'll are full of dookie. I will believe it when I have a hot bowl, ala mode in front of me.

In Camden, downtown, I'd bet Willie and Christmas Shoe Shop can make one for you.

A good Cobbler and real vanilla ice cream, is hard to beat.

Why mess up a perfectly good cobbler with ice cream?

minus the ice cream and she uses two or three more pears than what the recipe says but they are a little smaller off the tree at moms.

There used to be a leather shop in the shopping center where Outback is on Harbison. They might be able to help if they are still there.

I will admit, I was very disappointed when I opened this thread and saw that picture.

Easy to remember old timey cobbler recipe. (one of everything)
One stick butter, one cup sugar, one cup milk, one cup flour
melt butter in old cast iron skillet and pour the flour/sugar/milk mixture into it
then spoon your peaches or other fruit onto it and bake,
Gooey and chewy and off the charts

He did some leather work on a pair of snake boots for me. Ordered them online. The foot part fit just right but they were way too tight on my calfs. He cut them and sewed in a piece of leather to widen them out. Sowed or Sewed, however its spelled?

You were correct. Sewed a shirt after you sowed some seed.

Is Tandy still in business over near Columbia Mall? I've made leather stuff when my dad used to do it years ago as a hobby. It's easy (I mean REALLY easy) and would make a good project for Little Brother. A couple of small tools and stencils and he could customize it with a turkey feather on the sleeve and have something to pass down for generations. Just a thought, J.
