Animal Adoption

Just wanted to share that my girls started volunteering at the local humane society back in the summer. Now, I pick them up every Weds & we go for an hour or so to let them volunteer. They clean, wash stuff & take care of some of the animals. (stuff they hate to do at home)

Anyway, just wanted to remind everyone about how many great dogs are out there. If you are thinking of getting a pet, please ck with your local animal shelter first. You'll be amazed at the animals you will see there. Going every week will definitely get you attached to some of them.

My wife and I just adopted our seventh Golden Retriever last week and it's a real great feeling to watch a dog who's had less than a good upbringing (in many cases) be exposed to all the good and safe things in life that they didn't realize existed. When the "Light Bulb of Trust" goes on in their eye you know you've done well...
