    Default Battery Tender?

Are these things worth a damn?

I've got one of [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Odyssey-PC625-Powersports-Battery/dp/B0000BYEXO"]these batteries[/ame] that I need to charge up, and don't want to spend $100 on a charger.

I have one and have a few multiple leads installed. However, I've never used the charger. LOL.

Okay, so I really have, but not too much at all. I'll state it works fine and still works after about 4 years.

Says it has a five year warranty?

I can only speak for this one, I have had it for damn near ten years an it still works great... I have left it out doors for years too... Not in the weather, but outdoors.

And will it charge an AGM battery?

    It's not a normal lead-cell battery.

I got a battery that is sealed... It is manufactured for a hoveround style wheelchair, I run a survey grade GPS base and radio with it.... It charges that.

Battery Tender works great. Had one on my ZX and it kept the battery good for 9 years. Moved and didn't have a way to keep it hooked up and the battery was toast in 3 months

Yes they work like a champ. Won't bring a trolling motor battery back after full day but for maintaining they're the shit. Leave both my starting g batteries on big boat on one year round. Leave one on my lawnmower battery. I wouldn't own a 4 wheeler or boat without one.

I've got the 24v version and a couple 12v, they work great for keeping batteries charged up while things sit. Don't expect them to charge a battery up that's completely dead within 24 hrs though.
