    Nice!
How many acres is the whole place and is it fenced in?

Not fenced in. The total area hunted is 150,000 acres but I'm not sure how many acres the entire site is.

You think peeps sneak in there and set up shop? I would think with that much land and water....it would be a problem but then again I guess it is trespassing on Gov land too

Trust me, you don't get caught slipping in there. Armed to the gill at every check point. I'm talking straight military shit not some revolvers and flashlights. I'm sure the thought has crossed some minds but getting your ass shot usually out weighs the reward.

I'm sure people have, but doing so would take some guts. Wackenhut dudes are pretty badass security personal. Highly paid badass dudes at that.

I ran out of gas going through there one time. 25 mile stretch (hwy125) of woods through the site. Before I could get out and make a phone call, tahoes were pullin up with dudes ready to fight! They searched my car throughly inside an out, gave me 2 gal of gas, and followed me to the nearest gas station. Scared my 2 kids and wife half to death. They dot smile and have zero personality....

198,344 acres. 310 square miles quite a track of land! Almost as big as Calhoun county.

Didn't they use to time you while driving through to make sure you didn't pull over? Remember hearing that somewhere.

Yes. You picked up a time stamped card at one gate and turned it in at the other. 17.3-ish miles and your time had best be in compliance with said distance and posted speed limit.

Also, you were all but guaranteed to see an officer on your trip through as they mostly just ran laps themselves.

Because of the "clearance" level in most of that place SHOOT on site is ok. Now fortunately they have some really great guys who exercise a whole lot of common sense this doesn't occur. SRS falls directly under DOE and as such has some pretty weird rules compared to most of DOD. They have rules of engagement. DOE in most instances do not have those limitations.
They have some really cool toys they just picked up.
    I happen to know this

I've heard a chopper on two of the hunts. I figured not just anybody was flying around in there.

That's about right. Also killed 6 yotes. I got this one. 3 of pack 302's dogs were running him. I wanted to thank him but never saw him while riding around catching dogs.
