    Default Butt breezing

Gonna cook a butt for Monday. What is the best method for freezing and reheating?

I usually vacuum seal meal sized portions with the food saver and drop them in the freezer. The day before you want to eat, take bag out of freezer and put in fridge. When you are ready to eat, boil a pot of water and drop sealed bag in water for a few minutes. Take out, cut bag, and serve. If done correctly the meat will be as moist and flavorful as the day you cooked it.

Yes. Have you never done omelets in a bag while camping?

I use two forks and pick/shred it first to get the "meal sized portions" before freezing.

b35, please stop overthinking this thing.

If I ever use two forks to pull pork again, it'll be too soon.
