I'm mostly hoping for a wet winter out here. The "experts" are saying it's going to happen...

Shut your mouth! If you want to see snow, go to the mountains.

Hard to believe as I'm on Hunting Island as we speak. 100deg highs, not to mention the humidity, and more mosquitos than you can imagine. Wouldn't doubt it though the way the weather has been lately.

You can always put on more clothes, you can only get so naked and stay legal.

I am in Ontario again this week and saw my first early migration geese yesterday. It has not been above 75 degrees for the last two weeks so I believe what he says. He also says there will be significantly less lake affect snow, basically because the Great Lakes are going to freeze a lot sooner (still cold as hell from last winter). Migration should be a lot earlier this year so hopefully the season dates correspond.

I'll tell y'all one thing for certain. It's either gonna be mild or cold. I kill more ducks on mild weather than I do freezing around here. Keep the freeze line at nc/ tn and I'm golden. I hate cold feet.

According to a knowledgable capt that does not affect us like it does FL. Given that this is by far the best year we have ever had trout wise I'm going to say he is right

This is where our duck killing differs. I NEED cold
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

The cold doesn't bother me one bit, I actually like cold weather. I just don't care for that frozen precipitation. It was great when I was in school and got a "snow" day, but I'm past all that now. I've got pictures, I don't need anymore.
