Wiring Question

I want to hard wire my streamlight charger into my hunting truck. How would I go about doing this? Cut the end that goes into the wall off, splice wire and run to a non constant power source and the other to a grounded bolt in the cab?

As long as its a dc charger run it to constant power source and ground it

10-4, you think it would be ok to wire to radio power wire so that it only charges when the truck is on?

If you look in your fuse panel under/around dash u will find a couple open places without fuses. Use a test light to see what comes on when u turn key on and plug it into there. Or your radio wire you are speaking of will be fine. I feel sure she draws hardly any amperage

Do what s-swamper said and you can find an easy male push on connector at the hardware store that has the same end as a fuse. Push it in and you have power.
